Over twenty thousand sim card cloning cases reported – Milind Deora

New Delhi: The mobile subscribers in the country are facing threat of SIM card cloning. Milind Deora, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology stated in Lok Sabha today.

He also gave Licence Service Area wise details of number of cases reported so far regarding SIM cloning – Gujarat 1, Delhi 18547, Karnataka 16, Mumbai 11, Punjab 1738.

He said, No such incidence has been reported so far indicating SIM card cloning is possible with the help of a single missed call.
