Osmanabad Sex Scandal: Minor Girl Forced into Prostitution- Six Arrested

Osmanabad: Four ladies have been arrested for forcing one minor girl from Indira Nagar, Osmanabad into prostitution.

About one and half month back accused Manisha Parmar from Indira Nagar Osmanabad lured a 14 year old girl and taken her to various places in Osmanabad, Tuljapur, Solapur and Modnimb and forced her into prostitution. Along with Manisha, Shamal Sarade (Apsinga, Tal. Tuljapur), Surekha (Solapur), Sharda Jalgaonkar (Modnimb, Dist.Solapur) are allegedly involved in the sex racket to earn their livelihood. Victim girl some how managed to escape and filed a complaint with Osmanabad Police.

Accused ladies and two customers have been arrested and booked under sections 376, 363, 366, 34 with 4, 5, 6 PITA 1956; Madhav Karbhari, SDPO Osmanabad is conducting further investigation. According to sources 10 more persons may be arrested shortly for involvement in the racket. Similar scandal was exposed few months back.

LCB is searching another minor girl reported missing two months back from Balagi Nagar, Osmanabad.
